BRILLIANT BODIES SCHOOLS WORKSHOPS

During the Dundee Science festival Dundee Science Centre are hosting Billiant Bodies workshops. Brilliant Bodies is an interactive and fun exploration of what happens to our bodies when we exercise. Using the Wellcome Trust ‘In the Zone’ kits pupils can explore the effects of exercise on their own heart and lungs, as well as think about what makes elite sportspeople so good at their chosen sport. The workshops are aimed at P5-P7 , there will be three 1 hour sessions per day for upto 25 pupils per session.

 

As part of the workshop you can visit the Human Race exhibition at the Lamb Gallery and ISE at the University of Dundee.

 

There will also be a space available at Dundee Science Centre for pupils to eat a packed lunch. Please let them know at the time of booking if your class will be taking a packed lunch.

 

The workshops are FREE but must be booked in advance through the Dundee Science Centre. Booking details below.
